Profile of Key Management Staff

Sam Nabena - General Manager
Chief Operations Officer

Mr. Nabena had his undergraduate studies at the Obafemi Awolowo University, ile Ife. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from the University of Lagos.

He worked previously as Project and Corporate Planning Manager with Health Aids Limited and later with Duro Soleye Hospital as Business Manager and Head of Administration. He joined Eko Hospital as Assistant General Manager before being promoted as General Manager.

He is responsible for strategic planning and co-ordination of administrative activities of the hospital.

Kola C. Ajayi
Chief Finance Officer

Mr. Kola Ajayi is a fellow of the Institute of the Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He has an MBA degree from Ambrose Ali University.

He worked previously at Chemical and Allied Products Plc and Pharmaceutical Service Limited where he rose to become AGM Finance, Admin & Operational Control.

He was Chief Internal Auditor at Ekocorp Plc before being transferred as the Chief Finance Officer of the Company.

Celestine Uju Olumese (Mrs.)
Chief Matron

Mrs. Olumese was tained as a Registered Midwife at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Idi - Araba, Lagos. She attended the Royal Marsden Hospital and the Institute of Cancer Research in London and Survey where she obtained certificate in Oncology Nursing. She joined Lagos University Teaching Hospital in 1980 as a staff nurse and rose to become the Matron in - charge of Radiotherapy Department of Lagos Teaching Hospital (LUTH). She is a member of the National Association of Nigerian Nurse and Midwives and member, Cancer Aid Foundation.

She joined Eko Hospital in May 1997 as Senior Matron in charge of Oncology Department and became the Chief Matron in December, 2000.

Dr Timothy Odeleye - Chief Medical Officer (Cmo)
Chief Consultant

Dr Odeleye is a Chief Consultant (General and Family Medicine) with special interest and experience in Diabetology and Endocrinology. He is the Director of Medical Training for Eko Hospital, responsible for the internship programme for newly qualified doctors and the Post-graduate residency programme. Dr. Odeleye had working experiences with King Saud Hospital in Saudi Arabia and in the Gambia, West Africa where he participated as a Medical Consultant in the Technical AID CORPS Programme. He is a Trainer and Examiner to both National Post-graduate Medical College of Nigeria and West African College of Physicians.
