    Scientifically Proven Benefits of CBD Oil

    Cannabis sativa, also known as hemp or cannabis, contains the chemical cannabidiol (CBD). One type of CBD is approved as a seizure medication in the United States. Benefits of CBD oil over anxiety, dystonia, pain, Crohn’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and a variety of other conditions. It is also used as a treatment for seizure disorders.

     Reduce Anxiety and Depression

    CBD oil has a wide effect on anxiety and depression. It can calm down is perhaps its most well-known effect, and the reason. In 2017, the Brazilian Journal of Psychiatry published a study that looked at the anxiety levels of 57 men during a simulated public speaking test.

    The effects of it can be taken orally, such as capsules, oil, or any edibles to start working in 30 minutes to 2 hours. Smoking or vaping CBD oil or cannabisbuds have a more immediate effect.  Oral CBD products can be used to relieve anxiety throughout the day. It may be beneficial to take these products first thing in the morning with some food. It oil can provide quick relaxation, which may be good in stressful situations

    like giving a speech. 

    Treating Specific Epilepsy Syndromes

    The FDA’s decision is standing on the 3 well-researched observations. In these studies, 516 patients with Lennox-Gastaut or Dravet syndrome were given Epidiolex or a placebo. In comparison to a placebo, Epidiolex reduced the frequency of seizures in participants when used in conjunction with other prescribed medications.

    Can Reduce PTSD Symptoms

    In a small 2018 study published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary In medicine, 11 people with PTSD received CBD in addition to routine psychiatriccare for eight weeks in an outpatient psychiatric clinic. Ten of the elevenparticipants said their PTSD symptoms had lessened. According to the researchers, generally, it was well tolerated. 

    Opioid Addiction Treatment

    In one of those studies, researchers gave CBD to those who had a heroin use addiction. CBD significantly reduced heroin users’ cue-induced cravings, withdrawal anxiety, resting heart rate, and salivary cortisol levels over a week. There were not that many critical side effects are seen. 

    Reduce ALS Symptoms

    CBD may reduce the ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) symptoms, where the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord deteriorate, causing progressive muscle control loss.

    Reduce Uncontrollable Pain

    Researchers concluded that further research into CBD’s potential benefits in patients with

    diabetes, diabetic complications, and plaque buildup in artery walls are needed.
