With the basic goal of reducing back pain, the massage chair was first introduced in the years of late 1980s. The inventors tried to emulate the techniques used by a masseuse to help people feel relaxed and calm after a long tiring day or for people dealing with different chronic pains. And slowly with each passing year, there were new inventions in the massage chair and today you will find it with some of the advanced features that give more productive results to your health.

    The famous massage techniques

Two massage techniques are provided by the massage chairs which includes Shiatsu and Swedish massage. In Shiatsu you get the tension released from specific parts of the body through the pressing, patting, rotating, and rolling movements. While on the other hand, the Swedish massage gives your body proper blood circulation through kneading movements and long gliding strokes.

Both the therapies are equally important and have their benefits. You should understand what are the requirements of your body and buy a suitable massage chair from the best options available online.

The 3 basic components of the massage chair

The massage chair designed for any technique consists of 3 basic components which include the following:

The motors of the massage chairs

The motors are the most important mechanical part of the massage chair. The motor is responsible to move the nodes as well as the rollers to the required areas and also make the necessary adjustments to the seat to make you feel comfortable while taking the therapy. To massage your complete back there are various pre-set patterns and helpful programs provided by the massage chair. With the specific requirements of the user as specified in the control pad the massage chair conducts the tapping, rolling, or the kneading motion from the top of your spine to your lower back.

    The nodes and the rollers

There are various sizes and shapes of the nodes and the rollers are available in different models of the massage chair. A massage chair that consist of big rollers and nodes can provide a user with a generalized approach while taking a massage. On the other hand the one that have small roller and node can provide the user with points specific and more detailed massage.

They can move in various ways through which targeting the specific areas of your back becomes easy. The rollers and the nodes can be adjusted by the user to fit his/ her requirements and body conditions.

The adjustability feature of the massage chair

The massage chair automatically gets adjusted by understanding the weight, width and height of the user. The design is computerized in a way that the massage chair measures the pressure coming on the seat back and accordingly the protrusion of the rollers and the nodes get adjusted. You can also give inputs in the control pad to refine such options and get the right therapy.

With the increase in technology, there is also an increase in the competition in the market to build the most effective model for their customers. The worlds best massage chairs made by OGAWA are quite famous among the people that have given them many health benefits as well.
